Safe Conference Statement

Health and Safety

CETAPS and Nova University Lisbon will be taking all necessary precautions during the ICEPELL Hybrid Conference to minimize health risks and to guarantee participants’ well-being.

All official recommendations will be followed for the event, which includes a sanitary plan for preventive care of COVID-19 before and during the event.

Rules in mainland Portugal include the following:

Mandatory mask:
– in public transports, taxis and similar passenger transports;
– access and visits to care and nursing homes and health facilities.

General behavior guidelines
– Social distancing;
– Frequent hand washing;
– Respiratory etiquette.

On 10 June 2022, Portugal was rated Level 3: High, for COVID Levels. We will be endorsing the recommended behaviour guidelines and encouraging ICEPELL Hybrid Conference participants, attending in person, to wear masks when indoors.
